Aayla let out a sigh and knew this wasn't going to be easy. She always hated runners. It never helped the situation, only ended up making things worse. The twi'lek frowned when she saw the man use his blaster to part the crowd. That wasn't very nice nor smart of him. He could have injured someone and then he would be wanted for attempted murder or worse...murder. She shook the thought from her head and realized in that moment she had lost him. Aayla cursed herself in her head and then began to calm herself. Calm yourself, Aayla. Getting upset will not help you find this man any faster. She thought to herself and took a deep breath in. Upon releasing the breath, she closed her eyes to connect with the force. Perhaps she could sense where he was at. Aayla stood in the middle of the Underworld with her hand tight around her saber hilt. She continued to allow herself to calm and push every thought from her mind in hopes of finding the man.

Ulic pressed himself against the wall of the narrow corridor, his blaster still drawn. He suppressed the urge to snort, as in his haste, he had drawn his old blaster - the three-thousand years outdated one. It still functioned, though, and if he needed to, he could easily kill. "Lost, citizen?" Ulic turned his head, meeting the gaze of the sentient who had spoken. A Zabrak stared at him from the shadows, and he exhaled, trying not to clench his teeth or overreact. "Hiding." The Zabrak's face twisted into a grimace, and he realized that the being was female. She slid from the shadows, her own weapon drawn, eyeing him carefully. "Well, go hide somewhere else! This spot's taken!"

Aayla finally managed to pick up on the man's frustrations. She realized he was down an alleyway. The twi'lek started to head off in his direction with her saber in hand. She was worried that since he had a blaster he might attempt to kill her. Aayla realized she could not see very well and ignited her saber for light in the alleyway.
"Please come out, hiding only makes it worse." Aayla spoke in a calm tone, trying to get him to relax. She had a feeling it was going to be hard but, she didn't realize just how hard it was going to be. Aayla twisted her face in frustration and tried even more to get him to come out from his hiding.

Ulic grimaced, shaking his head as if to momentarily clear it. Without speaking, he ducked, pulling a hand over the Zabrak girl's mouth and pulling her down with him. He wasn't stupid, even though he felt like he was here. The girl was too dangerous to leave wandering around; she'd surrender to a lightsaber almost immediately. "Sith spit, man! You're hiding from Jedi?" the girl squeaked, her eyes widening. "Why'd you bring her here? Idiot, do you not know who that is?" "I'm fairly certain I don't know who anybody here is." "That's Aayla Secura! Force, oh God, I need to get out of here..." "Keep quiet! You're almost as bad as a Tarisian!" "A... what?"

Aayla kept walking through the alleyway with her lightsaber for light. She continued to be careful with how she was moving. The twi'lek could see that there were crates and trash all over. One wrong move could end up hurting her or the man she was looking for. The female started to hear voices as she got closer to them but was unsure if it was Ulric or not. She ducked slightly because of low hanging wires, or what she thought was wires anyway.
"Please come out..." Aayla's voice sounded more worried now and less happy. Who would be happy with this current situation anyway? Aayla tried not to let this get to her but it slowly was.

"What are they chasing you for, man?" The Zabark demanded, and Ulic could practically feel the fear wafting off of her. "I mean, you don't get Top Notch Jedi chasing after you for nothing!" Ulic didn't answer her, but his finger tightened on his blaster as the girl continued to babble, her cries getting higher and higher, until he finally placed the weapon to her temple, eyes narrowed with anger. "I'm going to turn you in," the Zabrak whispered. "You let me go, and I'll turn you in." "What on Earth makes you think I'm going to let you go?" He fired then and moved, but hiding her had been a mistake. There was no way out. The Bounty Hunter turned against the wall, sighing deeply, his eyes betraying the expression of discontent he kept off his face. "I suppose you're going to bring me in for hurting a civilian."

The Jedi was startled when he finally revealed himself and upon hearing the blaster shot. She turned to face him with her lightsaber raised. Aayla's face didn't look to thrilled. In fact, she looked rather ticked off.
"Well, yes, but I'm also supposed to take you to see Master Yoda. Things would have been much easier had you not ran off." She spoke in a very matter of fact tone. The twi'lek moved slightly to avoid an animal that scurried by her feet.
"If you hadn't killed that girl, all that would have happened was you visiting the Jedi temple to go see the council." Aayla continued her matter of fact tone. She let out a sigh and didn't really want to resort to being this heavy show of authority.
"Let's just go, and make this easy on both of us now." She wanted to do this the easy way, but clearly it was already past that point.

Ulic still had his blaster raised, though his eyes showed that he knew he'd been beat. "I suppose, but when it all comes down to it, she was just another nobody in a planet of billions. Jedi... tch. But she's not dead just yet; my weapon my be primitive, but it can still 'stun'." The Bounty Hunter fell silent at that, refusing to speak any more. It wouldn't matter if he did, anyway.

Aayla glared at him a bit when he said that she supposedly didn't care about this girl's life, of course she cared. All life was precious to her, regardless of if they were a less than desirable character or not. She pointed towards the exit of the alleyway but not before bending down to make sure the girl was still alive and okay. The twi'lek picked her up and motioned for Ulic to follow her out of the alleyway.
"Come on. I'm taking her to the medical bay and you're also coming with me." By this point, Aayla realized she was going to have to use an authoritative tone with this man. If she didn't, she was worried he wouldn't bother listening and would flee once more.

But Ulic merely raised his hands briefly before dropping them, following the Jedi without a word. The thought of a temple full of Jedi made his skin crawl, as it usually did, but he shook it off. He had been to more than one before, after all, and he... could deal, if he had to. The Jedi on Nar Shaddaa, where he and Ilsa had first been found; the Academy on Dantooine, which he had infiltrated along with Siri and Nalan; the Temple on Coruscant, now three-thousand years in the past. Distantly, he wondered how much it had changed. But then he remembered that Jedi rarely changed anything, and relaxed visibly. It would be easy enough, then, to remember what was where, which vents led to the outside, and where everything else was stashed. He felt a pang, then, remembering how he and Siri had gone in the first time, her slicing the panel and instructing him on how to do so with that damnable smirk on her face, so normal for a Zeltron woman. "Really, Ulic, do pay attention, yeah? I know you're supposed to be guarding our backs, but I'm trying to teach you something!" He remembered Nalan waiting outside on the swoop bike, ready for a fast getaway, laughing at them both as they rolled and ran and stumbled away from the Temple itself, her blue skin lightly flushed as she switched on the engine, lekku resting neatly over her shoulders. "Hurry up, you two, or I'll leave you here!" But she didn't. She never did. It was inhuman, Ulic mused, to miss two people as much as he missed them.

Aayla watched the man as she kept walking with the female hoisted over her shoulder. She didn't want to have him bolt off the moment when they hit the crowd. Aayla pressed on her comlink and called for someone to come pick them up. She pursed her lips and looked up waiting for the transport. She couldn't help but wonder what was going on inside the man's head. However at this point she figured it was best for her to leave his head alone and not try to read his thoughts again.
"Where is that transport?" Aayla stared up slightly and kept waiting for the transport to come. She tapped her foot lightly, clearly annoyed by the fact that it wasn't there yet. Finally after a few more minutes the transport arrived. She placed the knocked out female into a seat and waited for Ulic to get in beside the female.

Ulic glanced over at the female with disdain written in his eyes, shaking his head as he did so. He would stand. He really didn't want to be near her when she woke up, after all; it would hardly be beneficial to any aspect of his health, and really, a Bounty Hunter who didn't know when to stay away from needless trouble like her wasn't too good at his job. And Once Upon a Time, he had been the best. Or they had. Sith spit. Not again.

Aayla's face looked rather pissed that he wasn't doing as told but she figured as long as he came along quietly at this point there was nothing to worry about. The transport started to ascend upwards to the Jedi temple once Aayla told them to. The twi'lek closed her eyes and tried to relax more as she waited for them to make their landing.

"You're irritated with me, Master Jedi," Ulic purred then, an almost mocking edge to the otherwise polite tone he had deigned to use with her. "And I highly doubt it's because of her," he told her haughtily, gesturing to the still-unconscious Zabrak girl. "I can feel it from way over here."
ooc;; So sorry for the shortness :/

Aayla tried to pay the male no mind. He was trying to egg her on and she knew it. The twi'lek closed her eyes and tried to allow herself to relax. It would be better than letting her emotions get the best of her. It couldn't be much longer till they landed in the hangar bay for the temple, she told herself. The twi'lek was right and as soon as she finished her thought they had landed. The group was greeted by clones with their guns out. Aayla didn't think it was truely necessary but she knew if the man didn't feel intimidated he might bolt off again. She hopped out of the transport and awaited a medical team to come get the Zabrak girl from them.
