Klaus is dead after being decapitated suprisingly by Katherine, who he swore to kill after the sacrifice. Worried decapitation wouldn't be enough his head and body have been buried in two separate places, never to be reattached again or would they? The battle was bloody and left it's mark on everyone involved.
Elijah is seemingly dead after having his heart ripped out while trying to protect Elena and Catelle. Leaving everyone to realise they'd had him wrong the entire time. His body and heart now reside appropriately in the vampire tomb under the old Fell's Church. Meanwhile Elena, Damon, Stefan, Katherine, Catelle, Caroline, Bonnie, Matt, Tyler, Alaric, Jeremy and Jenna are left to pick up the pieces and recover from that horrible day.
Our story takes begins the day after Mystic Falls worst battle second only to the civil war. Who will shut down, who is left stronger, who has to recover physically and who will leave? The fate of Mystic Falls supernatural elements and friends rests in your hands. And did I forget to mention, there's a new evil in town...
